Charter is Awful
I am fed up with Charter’s internet. However, in my area there is really no other option that I am aware of. I am paying Charter for a 5 Mb/s internet connection. However tonight it is just over 500 Kb/s. One TENTH of what I am paying for. When I call, however, they are no help. This only happens in the evenings, so clearly this is an overall bandwidth issue. I know at least two other people in the Maryville, TN area that are having this same problem. Anybody else?

Charter, please get your act together and scale your network to the appropriate size to meet your demand!
Have you thought of internetting through TDS? That’s what I use in the West Knoxville area.
