McCain Wins New Hampshire

While the results are still rolling in, John McCain has won New Hampshire.  It looks like Romney will come in second and Huckabee in third.

However, McCain’s victory speech is rather boring and disappointing, in my opinion.  He has read almost the whole thing.  It seems like he has no idea what it says.  He is barely looking up at all.  This is a much different type of speech than both Romney and Huckabee gave.  I’m sure he is speaking what he means, but it certainly seems that he is reading strictly what a speech-writer wrote, rather than speaking his own ideas.  I have not seen many of McCain’s speeches recently, but for somebody running for President, his speaking skills are disappointing.  I realize that is not crucial to be President, but we have certainly seen that a poor speaker in the Oval Office currently (President Bush) has a difficult time conveying his ideas and convictions to the American people.
