Romney Wins Wyoming GOP Caucus

Mitt Romney has won the Wyoming GOP Caucus.  Wyoming, which moved its caucus before New Hampshire’s primary was penalized by the GOP and lost half its delegates.  Romney has won at least 7 of the 12 delegates up for grabs.  Fred Thompson won 2, and Duncan Hunter won 1.  Apparently some delegates are still to be decided.  Iowa’s big winner, Mike Huckabee, did not receive any delegates after choosing not to campaign in the state at all.

The win was a boost for Romney, coming two days after his loss to Mike Huckabee in the Iowa caucuses and three days before the first-in-the-nation primary in New Hampshire. Those two states have attracted most of the political attention. Wyoming had scheduled its GOP county conventions earlier to attract candidates to the state but had only modest results.

Also, see the Wyoming GOP Site (which once again is not a very good site).
