Busy…
I just wanted to post and let everyone know that I DO still exist. I have been very busy at work, and I just have not made the time to blog when I get home. Plus, nothing has really caught my fancy as of late. I am in a little bit of a slump…
The basketball was fun last weekend, even if Clemson did choke and blow an 18 point lead. Maybe next year… (spoken just like the Cubs fan I also am).
I have been working on my laptop putting Ubuntu Linux on it, and that has taken a LOT of time. I hear from people that Linux can take over Windows. I don’t think so… I am very technical, and it has taken me hours and hours to get everything working correctly in Ubuntu that works fairly easily in Windows. Now, Linux has some benefits, and you certainly have a lot more control of the OS, but the average user still will not have the time or ability to get all their devices and software working with Linux.
I hope to put together a few posts with some technical details about this build in order to help others. Hopefully I can start this in the next day or so.
