Obama Wants it Both Ways
In a move that should surprise nobody, Barack XXXXXX Obama wants things both ways. He wants his wife to be able to campaign for him, attack others, and say what she wants. But the moment his wife is attacked for a comment she made, he decries those that made the attack/video. In this case it was the Tennessee GOP.
“The GOP, should I be the nominee, can say whatever they want to say about me, my track record,” Obama said. “If they think that they’re going to try to make Michelle an issue in this campaign, they should be careful because that I find unacceptable, the notion that you start attacking my wife or my family.”
I agree with you, Senator, that your wife and family should not be attacked because you are running for President. However, once they choose to speak and campaign on your behalf, I think they are fair game. You cannot have things both ways. If you want your wife to be off limits, you need to keep her off limits.
