Election Day
Well, I haven’t posted in a couple weeks. Quite honestly I have been very busy, and even though I love politics, I just am not inspired about either candidate. I obviously think Obama would be very bad for the country, but Senator McCain is not someone I can campaign for, based on his past actions and votes.
So I voted early and was disgusted with most of the candidates. Almost all the Republicans were liberal or RINOs. I even voted for a Democrat, as I promised Lamar Alexander I would do because of some of his votes. The ballot was ugly, and I hope these politicians, particularly on the Republican side will start to become more conservative. I don’t want my politicians to take care of me or promise to. I will take care of myself; just let me have more of my money and don’t legislate everything I can do.
Today is Election Day. We will see what happens. All along, I thought this election would be a large victory for Mr. Obama. I am amazed that it appears he has not pulled away with this thing. We will have to see what happens today. I am sure it will be late tonight when/if we know anything. Go vote and stay tuned.
Sorry if this post is fragmented. That is how my thoughts have been lately. I will try to begin posting more regularly. I am sure I will have much to say tomorrow morning.
I think we just paved the way for Gingrich/Palin in 2012.
