Well, after about 20 years of playing golf, I finally did it. I made a Hole-in-One! It happened last night (4/17/2009) at Green Meadow Country Club. It was hole #3, which was playing 179 yards to the middle of the green from the white tees. The ping was pretyy much in the middle of the [...]

I love this week every year. The week starts with baseball’s Opening Day yesterday and today. Then tonight ends the best overall sporting event of them all, the NCAA Tournament. Then we get to finish the week with the Masters. Not to mention it is Spring and perfect outdoor weather. I love this week!

I dislike the way the Bowl Championship Series (BCS) determines a national champion as much as the next guy, but THIS is ridiculous. Everyone from President Barack Obama on down to fans has criticized how college football determines its top team. Now senators are getting off the sidelines to examine antitrust issues involving the Bowl [...]

However, someone of at Sports Illustrated somehow [...]

Clemson opens with a neutral site game in the Georgia Dome versus Alabama. Then we have four straight home games. It will be a hot September at home, but I am still [...]

Alright. So I have not commented on the whole Brett Favre situation up to this point. Favre continues to put the Green Bay Packers in an awkward situation. He has done this for the last several years with his waiting until the last minute to decide if he was going to retire or not. Obviously [...]

Dan Rooney, Chairman of the Pittsburgh Steelers since the 1988 death of his father, wants to buy out his siblings shares of the team, according to The Wall Street Journal and the AP via ESPN.com. Steelers Chairman Dan Rooney, the eldest of the brothers, wants to consolidate his control through a 10-year plan to buy [...]

I don’t think so. Not for me. But Rick Reilly says to give it a chance. In a hilarious article, Reilly is urging his readers: Rooting for Tiger Woods is like rooting for Justin Timberlake to get lucky, Exxon to hit a gusher, Bill Gates to find a twenty on the sidewalk. It takes no [...]
